Escape the Fate have unleashed their fourth studio album ‘Ungrateful,’ which features the title track as its first single.
Huntress are ready to take things to the next level and helping send them on their way is Motorhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister. The legendary musician recently spent time co-writing a new track with the band called 'I Want to F--- You to Death' that will appear on Huntress' forthcoming album, 'Starbound Beast.'
On May 15, bassist Eric Avery revealed that he had left the newly resurrected Nine Inch Nails. Avery, a founding member of Jane's Addiction, recently spent a year on the road with Garbage, leaving the musician "overwhelmed" at the prospect of hitting the road again with Nine Inch Nails. Avery's departure left NIN fans deflated, but thankfully, on Trent Reznor's birthday no less, the Nine Inch Nails mastermind has announced the return of classic member Robin Finck.
When we last visited Queens of the Stone Age, they were continuing their animated video series with a brutal bar brawler meeting his maker via an on-speeding vehicle in the 'Keep Your Eyes Peeled' clip. Moving forward, the focus now shifts to the driver of the car for the 'If I Had a Tail' video (seen above) and the series closes out with the promo for the current single 'My God Is the Sun' (seen below).
After exiting Metallica just over a decade ago, bassist Jason Newsted followed his heart, exploring passion projects like recording with Voivod, playing shows with Ozzy Osbourne, and making a few guest appearances. But in recent history, he began to get the itch to not only form a new band, but also to be its creative leader and thus the self-titled act known as Newsted began.
Ilan Rubin is a man of many musical talents and most of them are put on display in his longtime band the New Regime. Having already released two full-length albums under the moniker, the multi-instrumentalist decided to break up his wealth of recent creativity into a series of EPs, with the 'Exhibit A' disc just arriving in stores and 'Exhibit B' currently a work-in-progress that's expected later this year.
After nine seasons, 'The Office' closed up shop last night (May 17), but not without giving the cast of characters a hard-rocking send off. The finale centered around a pair of events -- Dwight and Angela's wedding and the shooting of DVD bonus content for the documentary -- with the office co-workers reuniting a full year after the series penultimate episode. As expected for a series finale, there were a number of poignant moments, and luckily for rock fans they were soundtracked by some harder rocking favorites.
Journalists Jon Wiederhorn and Katherine Turman have just unleashed a comprehensive book for all metalheads, aptly titled 'Louder Than Hell: The Definitive Oral History of Metal.'

With Escape the Fate heading to Loudwire’s Cage Match Hall of Fame, it’s time for two new bands to go at it with their newest singles.
