Something sinister this way comes. Get ready for the raved up sounds of Leopold and His Fiction and a dark video for "It's How I Feel (Free)" debuting here exclusively at Loudwire.

In the clip, we open with a mysterious man in a cowboy hat tinkering with a muscle car outside of a nice suburban estate. The clip switches viewpoints to a woman in slow motion approaching the estate and walking the stairs to where the band is hanging out on a terrace. She kisses Leopold before it changes to his viewpoint as he descends down the stairs to the car and potentially a dark fate. The visuals are juxtaposed with both a male and female inside a trailer awaking from sleep with expressions of shock on their faces. It's a very cinematic feel as the story rolls out.

Speaking about the song, Daniel Leopold tells us, "The rhythm was undeniably the seed from which the content and swagger for this song grew. People always ask me if I'm stoned. My eyes are wide and bright. The better to see you with. I tell them, 'Sure. I'm stoned. My heart is made of stone.' Speaking in punchlines, in rhetorical answers. A pacifists defense mechanism. On the road, at home, more often than not I'm finishing articulating my side of a discussion, or answering one million questions of when and why with, 'It's How I Feel.' I gave up being clever as far back as I can remember."

If you like what you hear, Leopold and His Fiction will release their Darling Destroyer album on Jan. 27. The disc is available to pre-order via iTunes and Amazon. You can also look for the band hitting the road to support the album. See their tour schedule below.
