Linkin Park to Play Charity Gig in Los Angeles

Linkin Park Facebook

Linkin Park will scale back their arena-sized stage show for an intimate benefit performance at the Los Angeles House of Blues that only members of their fan club, LP Underground, will be able to attend.

Linkin Park are no stranger to charitable causes — last year they put on a benefit concert that raised $330k in relief funds Japanese tsunami victims. Now, they are again teaming with Music for Relief to help fund their Power the World initiative, by putting on a fan club exclusive show at the Los Angeles House of Blues on May 18. The proceeds from the show will go towards the charitable organization’s efforts to bring sustainable energy to over a million homes.

Tickets for the intimate gig go on sale Monday, April 30, at 1PM EST and are available exclusively through the band’s fan club, LP Underground. This will be Linkin Park’s only U.S. tour date prior to their co-headlining run with Incubus on the Honda Civic Tour, which begins in August. The band’s fifth studio album, ‘Living Things,’ was produced by Rick Rubin and is set for release on June 26.
