Linkin Park's upcoming album, 'The Hunting Party,' doesn't arrive until June 17, but fans are getting their third taste of new music from the album in the form of a lyric video for the song 'Wastelands.'

As for the lyric video itself, the clip is rather simple with white-lettered lyrics playing out over a solid black background with no other visuals to speak of. But the minimal visuals allow for the spotlight to truly be placed on the song, which starts off with a tribal, hip-hop feel.

The song itself is heavy on groove, led by the drums of Rob Bourdon, bass of Dave "Phoenix" Farrell playing out over Brad Delson's guitars. The vocals are split between Mike Shinoda's rhymes in the verses and Chester Bennington's powerful vocals in the chorus.

'Wastelands' follows the band's recent singles, 'Guilty All the Same' and 'Until It's Gone,' which have laid the groundwork for 'The Hunting Party' release. Those interested in the album can pre-order it via Amazon and iTunes.
