Metal Madness 2013, Quarterfinals

And so we venture into the Quarterfinals of Loudwire's March Metal Madness 2013. Having started with 32 of metal's greatest and most influential albums, we're now down to just eight as Round 2 resulted in the elimination of even more legendary discs.

Fans have come out in droves to vote for the greatest metal album of all time, creating some seriously interesting pairings in the process. In the Quarterfinals, not only will you be challenged to choose between Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne, but you'll also find head-to-head battles pitting Slayer against Megadeth, Metallica against Pantera and Dream Theater against Judas Priest.
