Your votes during Round 1 of March Metal Madness have led to some incredibly interesting match-ups for Round 2, but the Headbanger Region may just have the most intriguing battles yet. This next round showcases Metallica vs. System of a Down along with Ozzy Osbourne vs. Pantera in Loudwire's quest to find the greatest metal song of all time.

Swedish progressive metal giants Opeth gave Metallica a respectable run for their money in Round 1, but the 'Big 4' leaders managed to best 'Blackwater Park' with the classic track 'Master of Puppets.' Metallica will now fight to knock System of a Down's 'Chop Suey!' out of the race after SOAD narrowly beat Rage Against the Machine's 'Bulls on Parade' in last week's battle.

Ozzy Osbourne's standout track 'Crazy Train' defeated Tool's 'Schism' in Round 1 of the Headbanger Region, placing the "Prince of Darkness" and the immortal Randy Rhoads against heavy-hitters Pantera and their aggressive masterpiece 'Walk.' Mastodon's 'Blood and Thunder' fell victim to the Southern trend-killers in last week's Headbanger Region match-up.

The fate of your favorite March Metal Madness songs are in your hands. Vote for who will continue their victory march in the polls below. (Round 2 of March Metal Madness ends at 11:59PM ET on Sunday, March 25.)
