Marilyn Manson will get in some stage time in this summer, having just signed on as one of the headliners for the UK-based Alt-Fest. The event, which is in its first year, will run Aug. 15-17 at the Boughton Estate in Kettering of Northamptonshire.

Manson will head up the Saturday festivities, with their co-headliner for the night still yet to be named. Friday will feature VNV Nation and Fields of the Nephilm, while Sunday has Arch Enemy and a still-to-be named headliner that will close out the festivities. The event will feature more than 180 bands, with an emphasis on metal, gothic and industrial music.

Other acts of note playing the inaugural Alt-Fest include Cradle of Filth, KMFDM, Killing Joke, Collapse, Covenant, Dope Stars Inc., Front 242, Malefice, My Ruin, Peter Hook & the Light, Truck Fighters and William Control among others. “We are ecstatic to have booked Marilyn Manson to headline for our 1st year; this means a lot to us and particularly our fans," says Alt-Fest organizer Dominic Void. "At Alt-Fest we like to be groundbreaking and promised our supporters a massive Christmas Day present in the form of a BIG announcement and here it is!”

For fans of Manson in the U.K., you'll want to find a way to get to this show as Manson has stated that it will be the band's only U.K. festival performance this coming year.
