Mayhem Bringing ‘De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas’ Tour Back to North America With Immolation + Black Anvil

It doesn’t get much better than this. If you missed out on Mayhem bringing their groundbreaking 1994 De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas debut to North America in full earlier this year or you’re been waiting to relive the tour, you’re in luck. They’ll be hitting the road for a month, bringing along death metal pioneers Immolation alongside Black Anvil.

Mayhem’s live set is palpably evil, guided by the deranged vocal presence of Attila Csihar, who gave an unnerving performance on De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas. The tour is set to begin on Nov. 3 in Buffalo, N.Y. and will circle the U.S., making just one stop up north in Canada, finishing it off with a New York City gig on Dec. 2. Check out the poster and a list of all the stops below.

“We are very excited to announce that we will be hitting the road here in the States in November,” stated Immolation vocalist / bassist Ross Dolan. “We will be supporting the legendary Mayhem from Norway and along with Black Anvil. We are looking forward to bringing a show that’s extreme and dark to all the fans. It is an honor for us to be sharing the stage with the band that truly pioneered the Norwegian black metal scene and can’t wait to get out there once again! See you all in November!”

While Mayhem are touting their debut, Immolation will be on tour supporting their latest and one of 2017’s best metal albumsAtonement. Meanwhile, Black Anvil also have a 2017 record on their hands, As Was, which is their fourth since delivering their first in 2008.
