Megadeth have been touring for a majority of the year, but Dave Mustaine recently enjoyed some time at home, celebrating his 55th birthday (Sept. 13) with family, friends and business associates at his estate in Franklin, Tenn.

As you can see in the video above, those in attendance at Mustaine's birthday got to partake in some fun "slip 'n' slide" action. For a majority of the video that the rocker posted to his Periscope account, Mustaine is narrating the action as members of his family and business associates slide down the slippery surface.

The musician, who knocks back some of the new Unibroe A Tout Le Monde ale during the filming, shares what a good time he and his family are having, stating at one point, "I may play like a rock star and I may look like a rock star, but I'm normal just like you guys." Toward the end of the video, Mustaine takes his turn as well before being hosed down by his manager as he returns to the start. The video ends with a Mustaine plug for the band's upcoming tour, which is not one to be missed.

Megadeth are currently supporting their Dystopia album, and will have Amon Amarth, Suicidal Tendencies and Metal Church joining them for dates beginning Sept. 20. Get more info on the shows and ticketing information here.
