It's no secret that Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine is a big fan of FOX News, especially if you've seen our 10 Things to Learn About Dave Mustaine by Who He Follows on Twitter. Naturally, he is a mega-fan of Bill O'Reilly and his show, the O'Reilly Factor. The band's latest album Dystopia has been massively successful, debuting at No. 3 on the Billboard charts and it even got a plug from on the FOX News host's show.

Mustaine reached out to O'Reilly on Twitter, posting a picture of four books the political commentator has written and then asked, "How about you get my new album Dystopia by Megadeth?" The series of tweets can be seen below and a video clip from the O'Reilly Factor can be seen above where the host plays a sample from the video for the title track.

Upon learning his tactic worked, an elated Mustaine sent out a series of tweets thanking Bill O'Reilly and corrected the tweet seen above, adding he has all five of O'Reilly's books instead of the four he posted. He also joked with the show host after O'Reilly quipped that he listens to Megadeth before going to bed and that staff members on set are Megadeth fans and noted the piercings they also have.

Dystopia is a politically-charged album as Mustaine has kept an intent and watchful eye over government happenings, especially in the last decade. The last album to contain such topical content was 2007's United Abominations. The band leader summed up his thoughts on the current state of affairs in the country, stating, “I think as long as the corruption is as rampant as it is right now and you have all the different factions, it’s not gonna get any better.”
