Congrats to Megadeth, as the band went a perfect five for five becoming the inaugural entrant into Loudwire's Classic Cage Match Hall of Fame.

The band began their run sending the 1986 classic 'Peace Sells' into the Classic Cage Match, emerging with 61 percent of the vote over the '86 counterpart -- Slayer's 'Raining Blood.' Staying in '86, Megadeth's 'Peace Sells' then took on Metallica's 'Master of Puppets,' taking home 56 percent of the vote.

For their next Classic Cage Match, we moved up the timeline to 1990 with Megadeth's 'Holy Wars … The Punishment Due' besting Pantera's 'Domination' with 73 percent of the vote. Staying in '90, 'Holy Wars' also took home 73 percent of the vote against Judas Priest's 'Painkiller.'

To finish out their run, we jumped the timeline to 1992, letting Megadeth's 'Symphony of Destruction' do battle against Dream Theater's 'Pull Me Under.' In the closest competition of all, Megadeth proved victorious with 53 percent of the vote.
