In an incredibly close battle to the death, Swedish extreme metal masters Meshuggah were successful in defeating their Nuclear Blast labelmates All Shall Perish. This marks Meshuggah's second victory in a row, with only two more victories to go until their track ‘Break Those Bones Whose Sinews Gave It Motion’ is inducted into the Death Match Hall of Fame.

Next to challenge Meshuggah in this week's Death Match is a band who rightfully claim their legendary status as extreme metal innovators, as well. American death metal band Deicide have been going strong for over two decades now, with frontman Glen Benton having repeatedly and famously branded an inverted cross into his forehead. The band recently released a unique and very blasphemous claymation video for the track 'Conviction' off their 2011 album, 'To Hell With God.'

Can Meshuggah continue their streak of dominance in this week's Death Match? Or can Deicide harness the powers of Hell to beat down their Swedish adversaries? The choice of course, is yours. Vote for your favorite track in the poll below! (This Death Match runs until Tuesday, March 27, at 10AM ET.)
