Nowadays, the merchandise possibilities for bands are endless. So why not a Metallica wetsuit? The thrash legends have teamed up with Billabong LAB for a surf wear line based on five of their albums.

The initial set of the collection launched today (Oct. 22) inspired by the artwork for their iconic self-titled release, known as The Black Album. There's a t-shirt, jacket, board shorts and a wetsuit, to fulfill your surfing needs. The remaining sets will be released between now and March of 2020. The four other album covers that will be featured in the collection haven't been confirmed yet.

"Released in the summer of 1991, the instant classic simply titled Metallica didn’t need any introduction. They had already arrived," Billabong's website says of the first line. "This collaboration comes through Billabong LAB, a division that supports artists, musicians, designers, photographers."

"...Metal is a good rage, almost like surfing, out in the rhythm of the ocean," bassist Robert Trujillo adds.

Prices for the set range from $35.95 to $349.95. See a photo below, and shop here.

Metallica were just announced as the double-headlining act for all five Danny Wimmer Presents festivals in 2020. See tickets here.
