Classic Rock Magazine is heading stateside for the 10th anniversary of the publication's annual Classic Rock Roll of Honour Awards. This year's event is scheduled to take place Nov. 4 at The Avalon in Hollywood, Calif. with Sammy Hagar serving as this year's master of ceremonies.

"The Classic Rock Roll Of Honour is one of music’s coolest and most prestigious events in the U.K. so I’m really excited to be hosting it for the first time in the U.S.,” says Hagar. “My goal is to keep it fun and filled with so many off-the-hook music moments that we put it on the map alongside the Grammys, VMAs and other awards ceremonies.”

And while it is a classic rock-based ceremony, there are plenty of hard and heavy rockers represented among the Classic Rock Roll of Honour nominees. Both Metallica and The Black Keys took home multiple nominations. Metallica are nominated for Band of the Year and also earned a nod in the Film of the Year category for their work on 'Metallica Through the Never.' The Black Keys, meanwhile, scored nominations for Band of the Year and Album of the Year ('Turn Blue').
