Kirk Hammett's love of horror movies is well documented and the Metallica guitarist says he already has plans for a follow-up to his book 'Too Much Horror Business.'

The axeman showed off many of the items in his horror collection as part of the first book, but he has a different focus in mind for what will be his second book. "It's going to be more based upon the pop culture of the '60s and '70s with a lot of hot rod culture and surf culture as well as monster and horror culture," he tells Bloody-Disgusting.com. "There'll be a lot of TV stuff, too, but all within collecting -- toy collecting, artwork, posters and whatnot."

However, it may be a while before we see the book. Hammett explained, "I said to myself that I have to give the next Metallica album priority. I'm going to wait until we're two-thirds through the next Metallica album before I start work on the book. And so maybe the book will come out in the end of 2015, beginning of 2016, if the planet hasn't blown up by then [laughs]."

The Hammett suggestion gives fans another hint on the new album timeline. He and Lars Ulrich recently granted an interview in which the drummer light-heartedly suggested that the disc would be released in a year with the first three digits '201.'

That being said, Hammett concludes, "I'm definitely planning on doing another book and I haven't started it yet, and I won't start it until the end of this year." The guitarist will next be seen at the FEAR FestEvil horror and music event in San Francisco this weekend. To learn more about the bash, click the button below.
