Starting off the Stage Dive Region of March Metal Madness 2013 are two classic albums that will make you want to destroy all your possessions in a metal-fueled tornado of rage. Giants and innovators meet in this first round battle in the quest to determine the greatest metal album of all time.

The almighty Metallica are among the favorites to win this year's March Metal Madness, as the thrash giants won 2012's March Metal Madness with the song 'Master of Puppets.' This year, instead of songs, the battle is to determine the greatest metal album, and Metallica's 'Master of Puppets' full-length is in the running. In addition to the title cut, 'Battery,' 'Welcome Home (Sanitarium)' and 'Orion' are just some of the legendary tracks on the disc, making it an all-time classic metal album.

Napalm Death's debut album, 'Scum,' enters this year's March Metal Madness in a powerful way. Widely considered as the first true grindcore album, 'Scum' changed the realm of extreme metal forever with the faster-than-hell effort. The track 'You Suffer' was even listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the shortest song in history.

Metallica's 'Master of Puppets' or Napalm Death's 'Scum'? Vote for your favorite album in the poll below!

(This poll will end on Monday, March 18 at 11:59 PM EST. Fans are able to vote once per hour, so keep coming back to make sure your favorite album wins!)
