Metallica's Orion Music + More festival just got a little more awesome with the reveal of several new acts that have been added to the bill. Highlighting the new additions is the reunion of Robert Trujillo's onetime project Infectious Grooves.

The all-star outfit came together back in the '90s and enjoyed some success while opening for Ozzy Osbourne. Now, years later, most of the original members will be part of the Orion reunion. Trujillo will be joined by Suicidal Tendencies singer Mike Muir and Dean Pleasants, Jane's Addiction's Stephen Perkins and Faith No More's Jim Martin filling in for original guitarist Adam Siegel. The bassist reveals that after having Muir bring Suicidal Tendencies to Orion last year, the seeds of an Infectious Grooves reunion were planted and now they're ready to sprout.

He says in a video interview (posted below), "To reunite with those guys after 22 years is going to be really special for me. Orion is the perfect place for that to happen … I'm looking forward to it."

In addition to Infectious Grooves, new Orion additions include Dead Sara, the reunited Rocket From the Crypt, the former Kyuss Lives lineup now known as Vista Chino, and local Detroit favorites Matt Clarke and Calico. They join a bill that already included Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rise Against, Deftones, Dropkick Murphys, Dillinger Escape Plan and many more.

Metallica have also revealed that Vans will return to Orion with a full vert ramp backed by Trujillo featuring pro skating demos and a showcase of Metallica's own Vans footwear line. That will join James Hetfield's custom car and motorcycle show, Kirk Hammett's horror memorabilia crypt and Lars Ulrich's 'Hit the Lights' film tent as some of the non-musical attractions.

The event takes place June 8 and 9 at Belle Isle in Detroit. For ticketing information, click here.
