The loudest ship hitting the high seas was back this year, and we were on board! This year, Motorhead’s Motorboat sailed on the Norwegian Sky to with stops in the Great Stirrup Cay Island and Nassau, Bahamas. With multiple stages of music and numerous heavy hitting acts, this year’s Motorboat was a cruise to remember.

As we set sail, thrash metalers Exodus kicked things off with a thunderous performance under the sunny skies on the Deck Stage. Suicidal Tendencies members and Heidi Shepherd of the Butcher Babies were even in the crowd headbanging with fellow Exodus fans. Motorhead guitarist Phil Campbell took hold of the same stage later on with his all-star band which happens to include his kids. Huntress completely captivated fans with their midnight performance as Jill Janus’ voice echoed across the sea. Jamey Jasta of Hatebreed along with members of Kyng and Crobot were also in the audience as we were all under the spell of Huntress.

Over in the Stardust Theater, Pepper Keenan and the rest of Corrosion of Conformity were greeted with a warm welcome from fans. Hatebreed also had the boat rockin’ as they brought some hardcore anthems to fans. With their new album Repentless out, Slayer obliterated the Stardust Theater with a crushing performance that included both newer tunes and older favorites.

That was only day one of Motorboat 2015! Check out our gallery above of some of the bands and fans. Stay tuned for our coverage of day two!
