Motorhead have kept their alcoholic empire growing with yet another signature beer. Having already treated fans with Bastards Lager, Motorhead now offer a brew for the fan who needs a high dose of hops; Imperial Pale Lager.

Motorhead have expanded their Motorhead Drinks brand far past beer, releasing Shiraz, Shiraz Rosé and Sacrifice Shiraz wines as well. Brands of Motorhead vodka and whisky have also been produced so the world's loudest band can give fans a wide variety of options to imbibe. This latest brew comes in at a healthy 6.2 percent alcohol content.

"We've released a few drinks now, and for every one, we want to push the limits further," says Motorhead drummer Mikkey Dee. "With Motorhead Imperial Pale Lager, we pulled all the stops, and this is craft beer at its best. We love the approach of Patrick and his crew at Nils Oscar, and we know our fans will love this great beer as much as we do."

"Motorhead are a huge part of my childhood, so needless to say I jumped at the opportunity to brew with this iconic band," says Patrick Holmqvist, master brewer at Nils Oscar Brewery. "From my first show at Saga in Copenhagen on April 3, 1986, I instantly connected with the sound, the attitude and their complete refusal to compromise. I took all that with me to the brewery, and for me, the beer absolutely reflects those things. I remember watching an interview with Lemmy on TV, and he was asked to describe his style of playing. 'Turn it up very loud, and hit it very hard.' That's exactly what we did with this beer."

Motorhead Imperial Pale Lager will be released in Sweden on Nov. 2 for 29.90 SEK per bottle (roughly $3.50). The release of Bastards Lager was expanded to multiple countries after debuting in 2012, so we hope the same for Imperial Pale Lager!
