Disturbed’s The Guy vs. Dio’s Murray – Metal Mascot Madness, Round 2

Two of metal's most shadowy mascots are thrust in the spotlight in Round Two of March Metal Mascot Madness as Disturbed's The Guy takes on Dio's Murray. Both of the Round One champs annihilated their opponents, but only one will move on from here!

In one of the swiftest defeats of the first round, The Guy accumulated over 26,000 votes, crushing Voivod's Korgull by more than 20,000 votes. Disturbed may be on hiatus right now, but their mascot is doing some serious heavy lifting as the band's fans came out in droves to vote.

Another apparent fan favorite in the first round, Murray, overcame Iced Earth's Set Abominae with ease, capturing nearly 75 percent of the votes. The shadowy ancient giant seems to have a much more difficult battle ahead, but Ronnie James Dio's legions will surely come out in support to help him advance to Round Three.
