As Nachtmystium prepare for the release of their sixth studio album ‘Silencing Machine’ due out on July 31, the psychedelic black metal band recently shared their cover of the Joy Division track ‘The Eternal.’

The song appears on Nachtmystium’s special edition 7” vinyl released earlier this year on Century Media Records and features guest vocals courtesy of Chris Connelly. Connelly is best known for his work with Ministry and Revolting Cocks. According to a post on the band’s Facebook page, “He [Connelly] did an excellent job and the band is really pleased with how this turned out.”

Nachtmystium will be hitting the road soon for a U.S. Midwest mini tour with Krieg and Murmur kicking off on July 25. In addition, they will be headlining the first of two nights at The Gathering Of Shadows, the annual underground black metal festival in Colorado on July 27-28.

Fans hoping to get a preview of what the new Nachtmystium album will deliver, can check out the title track streaming here and the second single 'Borrowed Hope And Broken Dreams' here for a taste.
