Get excited music fans, because March is going to be one hell of a month for new rock and metal music releases. Upcoming March 2012 albums will come from bands such as Shinedown, the Mars Volta, Every Time I Die, Cannibal Corpse and more.

Florida rock band Shinedown are set to release 'Amaryllis' on March 27. The album will feature the single 'Bully' as well as 11 other new tracks. Vocalist Brent Smith revealed the meaning of 'Amaryllis,' which he describes as a reflection of "everything we've done and where we're heading. It's a message of empowerment, perseverance, and inspiration."

New York 'core' titans Every Time I Die will be releasing their sixth full-length, 'Ex-Lives,' on March 6 and death metal legends Cannibal Corpse are scheduled to unleash their next punishing album 'Torture' on March 13.

Other highly-anticipated releases for March include Meshuggah's 'Koloss,' Soulfly's 'Enslaved,' Overkill's 'The Electric Age' and the brand new Iron Maiden live concert / documentary DVD 'En Vivo!'
