The month of May is home to Cinco de Mayo, Mother's Day, Memorial Day and, of course, Towel Day in tribute to 'Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy' author Douglas Adams. However, there are even more reasons to enjoy the lovely month, as a batch of new releases are set to terrorize your ears.

Leading May's most anticipated releases is the new Alice in Chains album 'The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here.' Having already heard 'Hollow' and 'Stone,' expectations are high for the record, and we can't wait to hear it.

The Dillinger Escape Plan are also planning to release another piece of sonic violence, 'One of Us is the Killer,' in May, while Judas Priest are scheduled to unleash the live DVD, 'Epitaph,' documenting the final show of the 2012 world tour.

Other albums coming out in May include 30 Seconds to Mars' 'Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams,' Dio's 'Finding the Sacred Heart: Live in Philly 1986,' Melvins' 'Everybody Loves Sausages,' Kylesa's 'Ultraviolet' + many more.
