Let's take a look at all the hard rock and metal albums set to drop in September 2013.

Nine Inch Nails are back with their first album in five years, 'Hesitation Marks.' The band just made their return to the U.S. stage at Lollapalooza 2013, and Trent Reznor and co. have been steadily releasing new material in the buildup for 'Hesitation Marks.'

Dream Theater will release their new, self-titled album on Sept. 24, as will Motorhead with their 21st studio album, 'Aftershock.' The metal world will also be gifted with a new Carcass album, 'Surgical Steel,' on Sept. 17.

Additional material set for September includes releases from Metallica, Ministry, GWAR, the Smashing Pumpkins, the Clash + many more.
