Several rock and metal acts are coming out with new albums in October 2011, including such big names as Evanescence, Five Finger Death Punch and Jane's Addiction.

After a long hiatus, Evanescence are coming out on Oct. 11 with their third album, a self-titled effort that features the single 'What You Want.'

That same day, the heavy hitters of Five Finger Death Punch are unleashing 'American Capitalist,' which boasts the hit single 'Under and Over It.'

And, after numerous delays, alt-rock veterans Jane's Addiction are back with their latest effort, 'The Great Escape Artist' on Oct. 18

Elsewhere in October, goth-punk veterans the Misfits are returning to the scene with 'The Devil's Rain' and Static-X frontman Wayne Static is coming out with his debut solo disc, 'Pighammer.'

Also releasing new music is Tool / A Perfect Circle singer Maynard James Keenan, who is back with another album from his eclectic group Puscifer.
