With the dog days of summer coming to an end, we can look forward to a slew of September 2011 music releases from some heavyweights in the rock and metal worlds. The cooler months definitely start off on a hot note!

With new albums coming from hit-makers Staind and Bush -- as well as a movie soundtrack from grunge goliaths Pearl Jam and a 20th anniversary edition of Nirvana's 'Nevermind' -- September is shaping up to be one of the biggest months for new album releases of 2011.

Also in September, Metal veterans Anthrax are back with classic singer Joey Belladonna for their new disc, 'Worship Music,' while young metalcore mavens the Devil Wears Prada are unleashing their fourth album, 'Dead Throne.'

But it doesn't end there! How about new albums from Mastodon and Sebastian Bach, to boot? With all of these big-name discs coming out in September, which ones are you going to buy? For now, check out the list of September 2011 album releases below.
