With no opener needed, Machine Head took hold of a sold-out crowd at Irving Plaza in New York City. Metal fans had an unforgettable night on Jan. 31, with well over two hours of music from the heavy metal heroes.

As fans chanted “Machine F---ing Head!” the band kicked things into high gear immediately with ‘Imperium’ and ‘Beautiful Mourning’ to start off the invigorating night.

This marks the first Machine Head tour in support for their brand new album ‘Bloodstone & Diamonds.’ A handful of fresh tracks that were performed included ‘Now We Die,’ ‘Beneath the Silt,’ ‘Killers & Kings,’ ‘Sail Into the Black’ and ‘Game Over.’

Machine Head fans were fearless as they raged to favorites ‘Davidian,’ ‘Aesthetics of Hate,’ ‘Ten Ton Hammer’ and ‘Locust.’ The night of madness came to a sweaty and sore end with ‘Old’ and, of course, ‘Halo.’

The band said it best as they responded to the memorable show via their official Facebook:

NEW YORK CITY!!! HO-LY S--T!!!!!
