Special releases from Nirvana, Type O Negative, Dream Theater, Soundgarden, Red Hot Chili Peppers and others will be available at independent retailers for this year’s Black Friday Record Store Day on Nov. 25.

Nirvana will issue ‘Nevermind – The Singles’ as a 10-inch vinyl box set, while Type O Negative will offer a vinyl box set containing albums they released between 1991 and 2003: ‘Slow, Deep and Hard,’ ‘The Origin of the Feces,’ ‘Bloody Kisses,’ ‘October Rust,’ ‘World Coming Down’ and ‘Life is Killing Me.’

In addition, Dream Theater will release their 1999 album ‘Metropolis Pt 2: Scenes From a Memory’ on 180 gram vinyl. Plus, Soundgarden will offer ‘Live on I-5 – Before the Doors Soundcheck’ on 10-inch colored vinyl, while their frontman Chris Cornell will release a double-vinyl version of his new album ‘Songbook,’ which comes out Nov. 21 on CD.

Also, Red Hot Chili Peppers are unleashing 1991’s ‘Blood Sugar, Sex Magik’ on red double vinyl, plus Beastie Boys will put out a version their latest album ‘Hot Sauce Committee Part Two’ in a combo package that features a 60-page hardbound book, CD, Blu-ray and DVD.

Among the remaining releases, Jamey Jasta and All That Remains will offer a split seven-inch of ‘Some of the People, All of the Time’ and ‘Mourn the Allusion,’ respectively.
