Northlane hit a bump in the road earlier this year when frontman Adrian Fitipaldes exited the band, but the group is ready to resume their career with new vocalist Marcus Bridge taking the reins.

Bridge was selected after the band held a public audition that yielded nearly 2000 applicants. But after weeding through the potential vocalists, Bridge was selected to help the band continue their career.

The group made the announcement on their Facebook page, also choosing to let the music do most of the talking as they posted their brand new video for 'Rot' featuring Bridge handling his new frontman duties.

We are proud to welcome Marcus Bridge to the Northlane family as our new vocalist. Marcus gave an outstanding audition video and as we spent time with him we found that he was truly the best person for the job. However, we will let the music speak for itself. Check out our new single “Rot”, which we finished recording just last week, and we decided to release this all one day early.

The video, which can be seen above, finds Bridge and his bandmates performing atop a large building as the day-to-day grind plays out in slow motion below. As can be seen in the video, Bridge can handle both the band's melodic range and well as the guttural screams that come with the vocalist position.

Northlane will return to the road with a European trek starting on Nov. 29 in Stockholm, Sweden. They currently have shows booked through Dec. 21. Dates can be found here.
