These are exciting times for Oni. The progressive metal outfit just inked a record deal with Blacklight Media / Metal Blade Records, now have a street date for their forthcoming disc Ironshore, and they'll be taking the stage at Ozzfest Meets Knotfest this weekend with a guest appearance by Lamb of God's Randy Blythe.

Oni will be playing at 11:55AM on the Nuclear Blast Stage during Sunday's (Sept. 25) Knotfest day of the music weekend, with Blythe set to make his guest turn with the band. With some time in his schedule, Blythe is taking advantage with a chance to be a music fan and support other acts. Not only is he joining Oni this weekend, but he recently agreed to fill in for Mike IX Williams on Eyehategod's upcoming dates.

As stated, Oni are ready to unleash new music. The Ironshore album is due on Nov. 25 (aka Black Friday), via the band's new deal with Blacklight Media / Metal Blade Records. Vocalist Jake Oni adds, "We are excited to announce our signing with Blacklight Media/Metal Blade Records. It is an honor to be on the same roster as so many amazing bands. With the support of this legendary label at our side, the world is ours!" Pre-order info will be announced in early October.

The band is off to a solid start with their new single "Eternal Recurrence." The anthemic track gives listeners a chance to check out their technical prowess, and a new video for the song has been unleashed. Check it out in the player below.

After Ozzfest Meets Knotfest, Oni will hit the road opening the Max & Iggor Cavalera's Return to Roots shows, then hop over to a handful of shows with Exmortus before joining the I Worship Chaos tour with Children of Bodom, Abbath and Exmortus. See all of their dates below.
