Halloween typically sees bands play cover sets and dress in costume, but when you're the Prince of Darkness you get to play your own material and bring some guests on stage to help you out instead! The Voodoo Music + Arts Experience in New Orleans, La. saw Ozzy Osbourne playing his first full solo set since Monsters of Rock in Argentina back in May. The singer hit the stage to deliver some Ozzy classics along with some Black Sabbath tunes tossed into the mix with Rage Against the Machine's Tom Morello, Slash and Geezer Butler joining him in on the Halloween fun.

After opening with "I Don't Know," Morello came out to perform "Mr. Crowley" and "Bark at the Moon." Footage of "Bark at the Moon" can be viewed above. Switching gears, Morello also got to play two Sabbath songs -- "Iron Man" and "N.I.B." -- with Slash in the fold as well. When they walked off stage, the crowd welcomed Geezer Butler as he tore through four more Sabbath classics and all of the guests came back out to play the final song of the night together, "Paranoid."

Before the show, Ozzy told the Pulse of Radio (transcribed by Blabbermouth), "I haven't played with Tom Morello but I've met him a couple of times and he seems a nice enough guy and I've heard nothing but great things about him. I'm looking forward to seeing him. And Geezer and Slash — we all know Slash. Slash is an entity on his own, you know. He's a great friend of mine as well. And Geezer Butler, I've known him since we were about 12."

Morello commented to Maxim that getting to play with Osbourne is "a thrill," extending his admiration for the material adding in, "My first-born son Rhoads Morello is named after the great Randy Rhoads… So being able to play with Ozzy on some of Randy's songs is another check off the bucket list."

Black Sabbath will be embarking on their last tour in 2016 and Ozzy has stated his desire to record another studio effort after closing the book on Sabbath. The record will be the first since 2010's Scream and speaking with Billboard, Epic Records president Sylvia Rhone stated, “It’s going to be a really special album. It’s going to be amazing, it’s something Ozzy has never done before that he’s always wanted to do.”

Those hoping for another Black Sabbath album may not get what they want as Ozzy recently squashed the chance of one final album from the band that started it all.
