P.O.D. Reach Out to Fans for New Logo Design
P.O.D. are putting their faith in their fans to design the group’s new logo. Interested artists can submit original designs here through Jan. 3. Voting will run Jan. 4-10, and the contest winners will be announced Jan. 25.
The grand prize winner will receive $500 and his or her design will be used on all of P.O.D.’s social media outlets, official merchandise and marketing and VIP ticketing. Logos by the first prize runner up and the “people’s choice winner” will have their logos displayed on P.O.D.’s Facebook page and will receive VIP tickets to a concert.
P.O.D.’s as-yet-untitled eighth album is due in 2012 and will be the follow-up to 2008’s ‘When Angels & Serpents Dance.’ In July 2011, P.O.D. offered the new song ‘On Fire’ as a free download on their website.
The band has one U.S. show scheduled on Feb. 25 at the Speaking Rock Entertainment Center in El Paso, Texas. In April, P.O.D. will play four dates in Australia and New Zealand.
