Papa Roach Unveil ‘Silence Is the Enemy’ Lyric Video

Subscribe to Loudwire on

Papa Roach are digging deeper into ‘The Connection’ album, with ‘Silence Is the Enemy’ now the fifth song to surface from the release. The band just released a new lyric video for the powerful track that can be seen above.

The clip itself is primarily shot against a dingy background with a bright light pulsating to the beat from behind as the lyrics pop up onto the screen. With the album called ‘The Connection,’ ‘Silence Is the Enemy’ is one of those tracks that speaks to the experience of being heard. Frontman Jacoby Shaddix offers the anthemic lyrics, “So scream your heart out / You are the chosen / You’ve got to show them / Silence is the enemy / Scream it out loud / We are the broken / We got to show them / Silence is the enemy.”

‘Silence Is the Enemy’ follows ‘Still Swingin’,’ ‘Before I Die,’ ‘Where Did the Angels Go?‘ and ‘Leader of the Broken Hearts‘ off of their latest album.

Papa Roach is in the process of winding down the current leg of ‘The Connection’ tour, which also features Escape the Fate and Otherwise. For the remaining shows, click here. After their current run, the group will travel to Europe for a leg of summer shows. Their full itinerary can be seen here.
