Australian metalcore band Parkway Drive gave New Yorkers one hell of a show on Saturday night (April 13) with support from the Word Alive, Veil of Maya and While She Sleeps.

From the beginning of their set to the end of the night, Parkway Drive had everyone dripping with sweat. With each song, the crowd got more and more energetic and ravenous. Clothes and bodies flew across from the back to the front of the venue as the band performed favorites such as ‘Sleepwalker,’ ‘Wild Eyes,’ ‘Boneyards,’ and of course, ‘Carrion,’ among numerous other pummeling tracks.

Vicious pits unleashed and swarms of bodies soared up toward the stage as Parkway Drive were set in high gear throughout the night. The only time bodies stopped moving was in between songs when frontman Winston McCall addressed concertgoers to ask if they were still alive. Parkway Drive fans are alive and well and their dedication is one of the main reasons the band is celebrating over 10 years of music with their loyal following.

The Word Alive also put on a high energy show as the floor of Irving Plaza being tested with the massive amounts of moshing and jumping. The band even got a "Wall of Death" going during their vigorous set.

Chicago band Veil of Maya also got the crowd going and got the blood pumping with their battering sound.  UK metal band While She Sleeps kicked off the night with an intense and zestful performance and definitely left an impact on fans in New York.
