The music world suffered a big loss on Sunday (March 23) with the death of GWAR frontman Dave 'Oderus Urungus' Brockie. The tributes continue to roll in, with Philip Anselmo, Tool and more findings special ways to pay their respects.

In Brockie's hometown of Richmond, Va., local CBS affiliate WTVR was able to put together a piece featuring those closest to Brockie that were members of the extended GWAR family. From store managers to costume designers to former members of the band, the piece (featured above) paints a picture of the man from those who worked with him. Former guitarist Greg Ottinger stated in the piece, "Dave was a comet hurtling through space and pulling a whole collection of craziness behind him. And that's what we were -- the tail."

Meanwhile, members of the music world found their own ways to pay tribute. Philip Anselmo offered up a simple moment of bonding behind the scenes that most would have never known about. He posted video (seen below) of himself with Brockie and GWAR's Brent Purgason, Satyricon's Satyr + Frost and Volbeat's Michael Poulsen hanging out backstage at a recent Soundwave show in Sydney, Australia. The video footage finds the rockers uniting over Slayer's 'Angel of Death,' as they play some air guitar and headbang to the track.

Tool, meanwhile, dedicated their Monday (March 24) performance in Austin, Texas to the memory of Brockie. Their tweet on the matter can be seen below.
