The harrowing footage from outside the Bataclan theater where one of the terrorist attacks took place in Paris at the Eagles of Death Metal show on Friday has an uplifting story within, not to disregard the tragic events that unfurled. While attendees are seen flooding out of the exits, a pregnant woman was spotted dangling from a second story window above. She was eventually pulled to safety a few moments later. An ABC News feature on the pregnant woman can be seen above with some graphic imagery.

The woman used Twitter to find the man who saved her, receiving a message from an intermediary in order to contact a man known as "Sebastian." Both the woman and the man who saved her wish to remain anonymous. "Sebastian" was inside when tragedy struck and scrambled to find a way out.

He stated to La Provence, "In front of me there were two windows. A woman was hanging from one of them. She was pregnant and was pleading with the people below her to catch her if she jumped. Below it was chaos. I went through the other window and attached myself to a ventilation shaft."

Continuing, he said, "I was 15 meters (50 feet) off the ground. I held on for five minutes then the woman, who couldn’t hold on any longer, asked me to help her get back inside. So that’s what I did. I don’t know where she went following that." The two have exchanged phone numbers and are both safe, though, as stated, they wish to remain anonymous at this time.

Inside the venue, the Eagles of Death Metal were six songs into their set when the gunfire began and the band immediately darted off stage and sought an exit. The band escaped successfully, but their merch guy, Nick Alexander, was one of the 89 casualties at the venue as part of the terrorist attack.

Several artists have canceled scheduled dates in France including Five Finger Death Punch, Foo Fighters, Motorhead and In Flames. The Deftones canceled the remainder of their European tour, including three scheduled dates at the Bataclan.
