Canadian rock band Protest the Hero are gearing up for a spring tour with Periphery. Supporting acts on the trek include Jeff Loomis, the Safety Fire and Today I Caught the Plague.

This will be the third and final tour for Protest the Hero in support of their 2011 release ‘Scurrilous.’

Meanwhile, Periphery will be fresh off their European trek with Dream Theater and are gearing up to release two albums consecutively in 2012.

Jeff Loomis will be on the bill to support his debut album due out in April, while British band the Safety Fire are releasing their new disc ‘Grind The Ocean’ later this month.

The coast to coast tour kicks off on March 25 in Chicago at Bottom Lounge and ends on April 22 in Philadelphia at Trocadero. Check out the full list of dates below.
