In this Round 1 matchup in our Best Live Band tournament, we've got two international sensations. One has been a live metal staple for decades, while the other just rose to great popularity.

Rammstein are a no-brainer for a competition like this. The German industrial metal act has been breathing fire around the world since their debut Herzeleid was unleashed in 1995. The edgy band exploded in popularity when "Du Hast" hit the airwaves in 1997, and Rammstein have remained a household name ever since. If you like your live bands energetic, heavy-hitting and most of all, dangerous, you likely kneel at the Rammstein altar.

Ghost are a relatively new band, but since breaking out in the 2010s, they've been selling out venues around the world. Having become one of the most popular conceptual acts in rock and metal, Ghost bring a live show like no other. While professing the truth of Satan, Ghost perform in full regalia, adding the senses of smell, taste and touch to their live shows thanks to incense, communion and the outreached hand of vocalist Papa Emeritus, respectively.

So will you vote for Rammstein or do Ghost earn your nod for the better live act? Let us know by voting in the poll below. You can vote once per hour through the deadline of Tuesday, July 14 at 10AM ET.
