On June 28, an unparalleled shock resonated throughout the worldwide metal community when it was reported that Lamb of God vocalist Randy Blythe had been arrested in the Czech Republic. Blythe was accused of manslaughter after a Czech fan had allegedly died following a head injury sustained during a 2010 Lamb of God show.

Blythe spent over a month in Czech prison, had his bail doubled from roughly $200,000 to $400,000, returned to the U.S., embarked on a nationwide tour and has now been formally indicted on manslaughter charges. Blythe will return to the Czech Republic to stand trial on Feb. 4, 2013.
