Now, this video packs some heat! RavenEye are teaming up with Loudwire to bring you the exclusive premiere of their video for "Hate."

The clip itself starts with the members of the band taking a ghost pepper challenge, then using that fire to fuel their performance. "Hate" is primarily a performance piece, mostly shot in black and white with the occasional use of video negatives bringing a distinct look to the clip. Check out the video in the player above.

The song itself starts with a somewhat muted guitar driven open, building in intensity and chugging through the verses bristling with energy and percussive propulsion. By the time they reach the chorus, "Hate" gets more anthemic in nature before settling back into the energetic verses again.

The band tells us, "The song is all about humanities peak emotions; in this case hate. It's about how you can use people's ill will toward you against them to make you push harder and achieve greater things in your own life. It's about defiance."

"Hate" is featured on RavenEye's debut disc, NOVA. The album is currently available to stream or download at this location.

Having just rocked dates in Europe, RavenEye are back stateside for their "NOVA Tour USA." The in-progress trek will continue through late July and includes a couple of stops with the band playing alongside Chevelle, what seems to be a stellar pairing. See their tour dates below.
