The rhythmic distinctive vocals of Anthony Kiedis, the nimble slap bass work of Flea, the impressive high energy beats from the likes of drummers Chad Smith, Jack Irons and Cliff Martinez, and a string of stellar guitar players that includes John Frusciante, Hillel Slovak, Josh Klinghoffer, Jack Sherman and Dave Navarro -- there's no doubt that Red Hot Chili Peppers have carved out a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame career with a sound that's not quite like any other band.

The group has yielded double-digit albums since they first arrived on the scene with their self-titled 1984 debut. And though it took a while for the world to catch up with Red Hot Chili Peppers, the band is one of the more beloved acts in music these days with a wealth of radio hits, Grammy victories and humongous album sales.
