Red Hot Chili Peppers – Rock Star Cameos on ‘The Simpsons’

In the final Simpsons episode of the show's fourth season, 'Krusty Gets Kancelled' features a slew of celebrities making appearances including Johnny Carson, Hugh Hefner and Bette Midler, along with memorable animated cameos from Anthony Kiedis, Flea, Arik Marshall and Chad Smith, the 1993 lineup of Red Hot Chili Peppers.

In perhaps the most notable scene from the episode, Krusty the Clown convinces the band to change the lyric, "What I've got you gotta get and put it in you," from 'Give it Away' to the more TV-friendly line, "What I'd like is I'd like to hug and kiss you."
