Red Hot Chili Peppers know all about Californication, but come February they'll be switching coasts to play the 'Big Hello to Brooklyn' concert as part of the Super Bowl weekend festivities.

The event, hosted by radio station WFAN at the Barclays Center on Feb. 1, will serve as the closing of a three-day kickoff event in Brooklyn before the Super Bowl takes place in New Jersey on Feb. 2. According to Rolling Stone, the bash will also include sets from alt-rock acts New Politics, Ms. Mr, J. Roddy Walston and the Business and Basic Vacation.

The Barclays Center will also play host to a boxing match between "Vicious" Victor Ortiz and Luis Callazo and an NBA game between the hometown Brooklyn Nets and Oklahoma City Thunder as well during Super Bowl weekend.

Tickets for the concert go on sale Dec. 20 at 10AM ET via Ticketmaster and the Barclays Center websites. The Super Bowl is set to take place on Feb. 2 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.
