Refused’s Jon Brännström Announces His Firing, Band Follows Up With Statement

Experimental hardcore punk legends Refused have parted ways with guitarist Jon Brännström. The strange part of the story is that Brännström reportedly exited Refused back in 2013. However, the musician chose to let fans know that he was "fired" via a Facebook post on Halloween.

Refused reunited back in 2012 to embark on a world tour. The Swedish act was on the road pretty much nonstop in 2012, performing to one of the most rabid fan bases on the planet. We were even lucky enough to catch an intimate Brooklyn club show after an outdoor cancellation nearly halted Refused's return to NYC.

The next day, Refused posted a message on Facebook addressing Brännström's sudden statement:
