When recent additions to the lineup for the 2014 edition of Philip Anselmo's music and film extravaganza Housecore Horror Film Festival was announced, one of the big surprises was that his band Superjoint Ritual would reunite for performance at the festival. Now, the band has released a brief rehearsal video on the Housecore Horror Film Festival Facebook page.

Due to legal reasons, they will perform as Superjoint at the festival. The band released two studio albums: 2002's 'Use Once and Destroy' and 2003's 'A Lethal Dose of American Hatred' before splitting up in 2004. Anselmo isn't revealing much about the reunion, but did say, “If people want to hear Superjoint jam a badass set, then we're all for giving the people what they want! You wanna hear it? Then bring your asses to Austin, Texas, this October 23-26!”

Tons of other bands will also be playing at the festival, including Satyricon, Eyehategod, GWAR, Danzig, Macabre, Cattle Decapitation, Unearth, Warbeast, Portal, Wizards of Gore, Ringworm, KEN Mode, SubRosa, Voivod and many others. Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe will act as the festival’s official host.
