Rob Zombie has been busy lately, not only touring and working on music, but also getting to work on his next film. Now, the rocker-director has officially announced his new horror flick, titled '3I,' with a new visual promo (seen above).

In the video, Zombie's career with horror films is examined, from his first movie 'House of 1,000 Corpses' up to his most recent flick 'Lords of Salem,' before the new film is teased. All that we get however is a scary looking man in clown makeup, similar to Captain Spalding from his early films, with the film title '31.'

What does it all mean? We'll have to wait and find out, but Zombie did respond to a few commenters on his Facebook page, promising that it will be "nasty and disgusting," and also dissuading those who proposed that the film would be a Captain Spalding prequel.

We do know who will be creating the score for the film -- Rob Zombie's very own guitarist John 5! The axeman revealed the news via his Instagram page.

As for his music, Rob Zombie tells Billboard.com that he has been working hard on follow-up album to last year's 'Venemous Rat Regeneration Vender.' "It sounds f---in' weird, man. That's a really good thing," he says of the upcoming disc. "Right now I'm by myself in the studio; the rest of the band's not here yet but, yeah, they'll all come up here later. It's going good. I'll work on that for about a month and get as far as I can get. Then in July we have a little bit of a break where I'll probably finish up the record, and then we have some more touring."

But before the movie and album are completed, fans will be getting 'The Zombie Horror Picture Show.' The concert DVD taken from last year's standout tour will arrive on May 19. Also enter below for a chance to win a signed DVD and its accompanying book.
