Rob Zombie Set to Host Inaugural VH1 Classic ‘Dawn of the Con’ Bash

Rob Zombie‘s heading to Comic-Con and he’s taking VH1 Classic’s cameras with him. The singer will play host to the network’s ‘Dawn of the Con’ bash taking place at San Diego’s Petco Park on July 12.

The festival will serve as the first ever Opening Night Attendee Welcome Party and will feature Zombie along with DJ Will of ‘That Metal Show’ providing the entertainment for the evening.

In addition to the music, attendees can take advantage of the digital photo area, where you can pose next to a drag racer from Zombie’s ‘Dragula’ video, take advantage of the hourly one-of-a-kind illustrated poster giveaways, and visit the t-shirt bar where you can pick from any number of limited-edition designs and have your shirts pressed on the spot.

In addition, Zombie promises sneak peeks of his ‘Mondo Sex Head‘ remix album, which arrives Aug. 7. It includes reworked versions of his songs done by Jonathan ‘JDevil’ Davis, ††† (Crosses), and Bloody Beetroots among others.
