Royal Blood vs. In This Moment – Cage Match

Warner Bros. / Atlantic Records
Warner Bros. / Atlantic Records

Royal Blood are the new Cage Match champs, as their current single “Lights Out” bested As Lions’ “Aftermath” in a battle between two newcomers to the Cage Match. The fuzzed out rocker has shot up the charts in recent weeks, getting the band’s How Did We Get So Dark? album off on the right foot.

Their opponent this week will be In This Moment, who have a new song and album of their own to promote. The bluesy swagger-filled stomp of “Oh Lord” is starting to catch on with fans and is helping to make the band’s Ritual album one of the most anticipated discs of the coming months.

So let’s let these bluesy rockers do their thing. Rock ‘em out in the players below, then let us know if you want to see Royal Blood’s “Lights Out” or In This Moment’s “Oh Lord” advancing to the next Cage Match by voting in the poll provided.

(This Cage Match will run through June 26 at 2PM ET. Fans can vote once per hour! So come back and vote often to make sure your favorite song wins!)

Rules of Cage Match:
Fans can vote once per hour for their favorite song. If a song remains the reigning champ for five straight Cage Matches, it is retired to the Loudwire Cage Match Hall of Fame. With so many great songs out there, we have to give other bands a chance!
