Earlier this week we told you that Sammy Hagar posted about season two of his show Rock & Roll Road Trip. Now more details have been revealed, along with a trailer that you can watch above.

The first episode of season two will air March 5 on AXS TV. The special hour-long show (the rest of the episodes are 30 minutes) focuses on Acoustic-4-A-Cure, the annual benefit concert founded by Hagar and Metallica‘s James Hetfield.

In addition to interviewing Hetfield, the Red Rocker also talks with Joe Satriani, John Mayer and Melissa Etheridge. They all jam together as well, along with Tommy Lee, Train's Pat Monahan and others.

The 12 episodes of season two will be split into six-show cycles. Other guests include Toby Keith, John Mellencamp, Rick Nielsen (Cheap Trick), Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top) and Mick Fleetwood (Fleetwood Mac). For a more detailed rundown, go here.

One of the artists featured in the March 26 episode is Hagar's band Chickenfoot. By then, their compilation album  Best + Live will have been released.

In case you missed season one of the show, AXS will be running a marathon of Rock & Roll Road Trip on Feb. 19. Hagar will also be answering fan questions that day during a Facebook Live stream on his page.

The 69-year-old Hagar slows no signs of slowing down, with a lot of projects on his plate. On March 16, he'll speak at the annual South By Southwest event in Austin, Texas. He'll discuss his music career along with his successful businesses and charitable efforts. Nirvana's Krist Novoselic will be speaking at SXSW on March 14.
