The new band featuring former Megadeth members Chris Broderick and Shawn Drover doesn't have a name yet, but it does have a new member -- Shadows Fall's Matt Bachand.

The bassist joins the former Megadeth guitarist and drummer, along with ex-Scar the Martyr singer Henry Derek Bonner, in the yet-to-be-named group. Drover checked in with Bravewords.com with an update in which he revealed Bachand's addition.

"I am leaving on Saturday for Hartford, CT, to begin drum tracks on the new record I am doing with Chris Broderick, Henry Derek and our new bass player, Matt Bachand," says Drover. "I have known Matt for 15 years now and he is a great musician, songwriter, singer and all around GREAT person. To say I’m jacked up about having Matt with us is an understatement!"

The drummer went on to add, "All the songs have shaped up nicely and there is a lot of metal dynamics on these songs, overall. Some of them are flat out thrash-speed metal, others are up tempo, but I can assure you it is all 100% HEAVY METAL. Those who know me know I have always been an advocate for the more aggressive metal stuff, so if you’re expecting anything to the contrary on this record, you would be dead wrong."

Drover also revealed that the band has chosen their producer / engineer for the new album, but he's keeping the person's identity, along with the band's name and their chosen record label, under wraps until they're ready to release a press release on the group. He assures fans that the information will be coming very soon. Stay tuned to see how it all plays out.
